India- Election Juggernaut

Good Morning  all,

A hot summer day today with a big agenda. The election. It is probably the only day the middle class gets to voice their opinion, make a choice. ( without repercussions and not just at the dinner table).
It is a holiday for most of the people , so the day starts a little slow.
I started my day a little early , hoping to exercise my choice. But it was not to be. I am an Indian Passport holder, have the Adhara card on my name and also the Pan card but I still do not figure in the country's electoral list. You might say , "Have you filled out the form/forms." Affirmative. Not once but thrice, but I still do not seem to fit the bill.
I understand that a democratic election of this ginormous proportions , will have glitches. kudos to the Election Commission on their job. The tampered EVM, the moral code etc were handled effectively.
Still WHAT ABOUT US? We exist if not on your paper. Our choices matter and we would like to make that choice.
When I say we , I am speaking for all those who missed the big date. The few thousands , or may be even lakhs. So write to me or register your name online . Let the EC and all concerned realize our strength.
They may wake up to realize that , this needs to change. May be we get a chance to exercise  our opinion again. Lets try it this way.

Cheers
